CITAC at the Angola Oil & Gas Conference 2025
CITAC was proud to play an active role in this year’s Angola Oil & Gas Conference, held in Luanda from 2–3 September 2025.
On 2 September, our Executive Director, Elitsa Georgieva, delivered a presentation on “Mid- and Downstream Infrastructure Requirements and Developments in Sub-Saharan Africa.” Her session highlighted key investment needs, opportunities, and the critical role of infrastructure in supporting Africa’s growing energy demand.
The following day, Ms. Georgieva moderated the panel discussion “Towards a Secure Energy Future: Accelerating Downstream Development to Meet Market Demand.” The session brought together distinguished industry leaders, including:

- Mauro Graca, President, Executive Committee – Sonangol Distribuição e Comercializaçao
- Antonio Feijo, Deputy General Manager – IRDP

The panel explored strategies to enhance downstream capacity, strengthen regional supply chains, and ensure secure, sustainable energy access across Africa.
